I heart zombies.
OK, correction, I heart zombie lore. and gore.
So, when I heard a story about zombie novels on NPR this morning while driving to work, I got super excited.
Basically, they're talking about 4 books that break the mold of regular zombie tales. The one I'm most excited about is Breathers, by Scott Browne, in which we the reader are supposed to empathize with the zombie.
Sounds a little to me like Fido. (so awesomely bad it's hard not to love)
And.. it has got to be better than Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, by Jane Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith, which I'm trying to read now, but thoroughly hating.
Unrelated to novels, but definitely in the spirit of zombie love, check this out. I won't spoil the surprise by telling you what it is, but do yourself a favor and take a peek (I promise, it all-ages and work appropriate..)
